Pundaze is a daily visual pun puzzle game that challenges your wordplay skills. Here's everything you need to know to get started:
The Basics
Each day, you'll be presented with an image that represents a visual pun. Your job is to identify what pun is being displayed.
You have 3 guesses to get it right. Each guess must fit the number of letters shown in the prompt.
All words use U.S. English spelling (e.g., COLOR, not COLOUR). The spelling of the answer will match the visual pun.
Example
For example, the image above would be "PUMPKIN PI" rather than "PUMPKIN PIE".
Notice how the spelling matches the visual representation in the image (the mathematical Pi symbol, not the dessert).
Tips & Features
- Expand the Image: Click on the puzzle image to see it in full size for a closer look at the details.
- Use Hints: Stuck on a difficult pun? Click the "Hint" button to reveal a letter in the answer. You can use as many hints as you need.
- Letter Boxes: The empty boxes show you exactly how many letters are in the answer, including spaces between words.
- Hard Mode: For an extra challenge, enable Hard Mode in Settings. This limits your guesses and removes hints.
- Dark Mode: Prefer a darker interface? Toggle Dark Mode in Settings for a more comfortable viewing experience.
Scoring & Statistics
After each puzzle, you'll see:
- How many guesses you used
- How many hints you needed
- How your performance compares to other players
Creating an account allows you to track your statistics over time, including:
- Games played
- Win rate
- Current streak
- Maximum streak
- Average guesses per solved puzzle
Sharing Your Results
Proud of your punning prowess? After completing a puzzle, you can share your results with friends without spoiling the answer.
Click the "Share" button on the results screen to generate a shareable summary of your performance.

Pundaze features a new puzzle every day at midnight in your local time zone.
Each puzzle is carefully crafted to challenge and/or entertain you. You'll probably think some are obvious, while others you may not get even after seeing the explanation. Hopefully, that's part of what makes it fun 🤞
